Hypnotherapy Past Life Regression

What is hypnosis, hypnotherapy and regression therapy?

Hypnosis is a focused state of inner awareness
Hypnosis is an altered state of consciousness we go into naturally. Hypnosis can happen spontaneously, be self-guided or guided by a hypnotherapist. While in hypnosis one is able to access the subconscious mind which is highly responsive to constructive and transformative messages.

Hypnotherapy creates a healing experience
Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic practice where the hypnotic state is used to create a healing experience. Traditionally, this healing is facilitated by using positive suggestions to change unwanted behaviours or encourage positive ones.

Regression Therapy releases the root cause
Regression Therapy utilizes the hypnotic state and the wisdom of the subconscious mind, to go back into the past and uncover and release emotional traumas that are at the root of a presenting symptom or issue.

As a hypnotherapist, I almost always start with regression therapy as traditional hypnotherapy alone can be ineffective. As I often describe it, if there is a huge wound under the surface you, can feed the subconscious all the positive suggestions you want, but it will keep directing the focus to why it feels unsafe ie the wound. Treat the wound first and then the positive suggestions sink into and are accepted by the subconscious.

Hypnotherapy and physical issues

Physical issues are rooted in repressed emotions from unresolved trauma. In order to fully heal, we have to go to the root cause. By using hypnotherapy, we access the power of the subconscious mind and go back to release these trapped emotions. When we release the emotional root cause, the presenting physical issue resolves.

The most common psychical issues hypnotherapy can help with include:
⁘ Allergies
⁘ Chronic disease
⁘ Fertility
⁘ High blood pressure
⁘ Insomnia
⁘ Irritable Bowel Syndrome
⁘ Migraines
⁘ Pain
⁘ Sexual issues
⁘ Skin problems
⁘ Weight issues
and more!

Some of my most recent client success stories with physical issues include a client with a dramatic reduction of a skin issue after only two sessions, a client with lower back pain that resolved in real time during a session, and a decade long migraine sufferer whose pain disappeared after going back to the injury that started the migraines in the first place.

We are talking about real healing from people who have usually tried countless numbers of conventional and/ or non conventional modalities before finding hypnotherapy and regression therapy. Usually by the time they get to me, it’s a last ditch effort at something the medical community has written off as a life long condition.

Your mind can heal your body. All you have to do is tap into the powerhouse of your subconscious, so you can listen to what your body is trying to express, and release it. It’s not easy work, in fact it’s work that takes a lot of courage to do, but the solution is just that simple.

What physical issue are you ready to be free of?

Top 3 hypnotherapy myths

It’s time to bust some myths! These are the top 3 misconceptions about hypnotherapy and pats life regression therapy I get asked all the time:

1. Hypnosis isn’t mind control. As adults we go into this natural trance state several times during the day (children spend much more time in trance)- think about when you daydream or go on autopilot while driving. I can’t make you say or do anything against your will, or make you lose awareness of what goes on during a session.

2. Your belief in past lives has no relation to the effectiveness of the healing process. You can choose to believe whatever feels right to you about your experience, and the amazing thing is that the therapy still works, no matter what that belief may be. I will say that when you pull out small historically accurate details that are not found in your average textbooks or movies, it does prompt more exploration on the topic of reincarnation.

3. You know that old adage, you’ve got to feel it to heal it? That is at the core of regression therapy. We are going to release locked in feelings and emotions from past traumas, and often that is difficult to do especially when you are versed in suppressing them. But your subconscious will never bring up anything you are not ready for (for this reason children experience regression quite differently and often as metaphors) and you’ve got me with you every step of the way.

Regression therapy and antidepressant withdrawal

If you are experiencing side effects from antidepressant withdrawal, hypnotherapy and regression therapy can help.

Like so many others, I was prescribed a pill that promised to take my emotional pain away. Some experience horrible side effects, some nothing at all, and some like me did experience relief for a time. And while this pill put a lid on my traumas, I felt like I had healed. Except the side effects started to surface, and after nearly a decade medicating myself, I felt I had done the inner work to come off. I didn’t have a clue how to safely taper off these pills, and neither did those that prescribed them in the first place. I also didn’t know that as the lid the pills put in place dissolved away, any unaddressed trauma and emotions would burst to the surface. The initial wave of withdrawal was the scariest and loneliness place I’ve ever been in my life. A true dark night of the soul. It is hard to put into words the absolute desolation that such a tiny pill can inflict. The trouble is, my story is far from unique.

I have met so many beautiful people that have lived on the edge of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual suffering because of a pill they were never properly informed about or consented to. And even once the horrors of withdrawals revealed themselves, their experiences were not believed by the medical system they once trusted. Maybe some would have still chosen this route, maybe the benefits still outweighed the risks, but every human has the right to informed consent and autonomy over their own body.

What’s happening? Antidepressants put an artificial lid on emotions from past trauma, keeping them repressed. When you begin the journey of tapering off the medications, the lid is lifted, and all of the unresolved emotional trauma resurfaces. Depending on how long the medications have been used, this can be years or oven decades worth of repressed trauma! Needless to say, this process can be very overwhelming especially on top of any physical side effects from the withdrawal process.

How does Regression Therapy help? Regression therapy allows us to go back and release the trapped emotional trauma at the root of the issue. This process softens reactivity and facilitates a true healing process. Regression therapy has been monumental in my own personal healing journey from antidepressant withdrawal.

If you feel alone, know that you truly are not. You don’t have to suffer silently. Share your story. Cry and scream and hold each other close. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t have those few special people that carried hope for me when it was too much to manage myself. In this human connectedness you will find the strength to go on on your hardest days. Because there will be many hard days, but there will be good days again too. There will be a return of smiles and laughter and joy. And sometimes what you need to get you to a good moment again, is someone to help cradle your light.

Healing antidepressant withdrawal is possible. Healing depression is possible. Healing anxiety is possible. When we go to the root cause, all healing is possible.
